About
TEMPO Concert Hall — Doors 6 PM | Show at 7 PM
Join master singer-songwriter Steve Earle for an intimate solo and acoustic concert to benefit Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. A protege of Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, Steve Earle became a master storyteller in his own right; his songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and others. In 2020 Earle was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and in 2023 he was honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.
The proceeds of this concert will directly benefit Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a member-supported nonprofit dedicated to protecting the Hudson River through education, advocacy, sailing, and music. Clearwater is a project of the Clearwater Festival. 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of founder Pete Seeger’s first fundraising concerts for the sloop and the start of Clearwater’s musical heritage.
This concert is made possible by the support and partnership of Radio Kingston and TEMPO Performing Arts Center.
Benefit tickets available:
- VIP Supporter $250: This ticket includes designated seating close to the stage, a meet and greet with Steve Earle, plus 2 tickets to sail aboard the Sloop Clearwater during the 2026 sailing season.
- Supporter $110: Open seating in the general audience.
