The breeding season for barred owls, great-horned owls and screech owls occurs in mid-winter during some of the coldest months of the year. During the breeding season you are likely to hear the territorial calls of male owls as they defend their territory. Come join us for an indoor presentation followed by a night hike to learn about the habits of these nocturnal birds and listen for their calls.

This program meets inside the Discovery Center.
