Start your day outdoors and join us for a hike at Kings Highway Barrens Trailhead. We plan to hike approximately 1.3 miles over sandy hills. This program will meet at Kings Highway Barrens Trailhead #9.

Directions from Discovery Center to Kings Highway Barrens (Trailhead 9): At the traffic light in front of the Discovery Center building, continue straight through the intersection onto Old State Road. Follow Old State Rd. 0.6 miles to a 3-way stop sign intersection. At the stop sign, turn right onto Kings Road. Continue straight on Kings Road for 1.3 miles. The trailhead will be on your right-hand side of the road. Look for the pull-off area, split-rail fencing, and brown kiosk.
