Do you have a beloved household item that could use a little TLC? Come to the Repair Café, a joint project of the Library and the Town of Colonie Department of Planning and Economic Development, to connect with volunteer experts from our community who are excited to teach you the skills to fix items and extend the life of your prized possessions. A volunteer repair coach will sit with you while they explain the repair.
For teens and adults.
Acceptable items to bring:
- bicycles
- wooden items
- clothing and other textiles
- laptops and smart devices
- dull knives and gardening tools
- jewelry, lamps, fans, vacuum cleaners
- other small appliances and electrical items

Sign in at the Check-In table. You will receive a number for the order in which you have arrived. ONE item may be repaired per attendee.
