This program is suitable for all ages.
Join us on this inclusive adventure to look for wild blue lupine flowers and talk about the Karner blue butterfly. Once common in the Glacial Lake Albany sand belt, the Karner blue butterfly plummeted in numbers and was listed as a federally endangered species in 1992. Come learn about the natural history of the Karner blue and our efforts to increase the population of Karner blues in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.
Review our public program guidelines.
