The Friends of Cohoes Public Library are holding a book sale at the library on Saturday, October 10, 2026 with a preview night, Friday, October 9, 2026. All proceeds will support purchasing books for the new library.
Friday, Oct 9 from 5:00PM–7:00PM: guests can pay a $5 admittance to the Preview Night, giving them early access to purchase up to 15 books.
Saturday, Oct 10: admittance is free. The sale is open from 10:00AM–4:00PM.

All sales final.
Donations for this sale can be brought directly to a staff member at the Cohoes Public Library circulation desk during open hours. (Special arrangements can be made if you cannot make these hours.)
We are accepting hardcovers, large size and mass market paperbacks, children's books, media (CDs, DVDs, VHS), games, and puzzles.
We are not able to accept dusty, musty, or damaged books, encyclopedias, textbooks, workbooks, medical books, LP records, cassettes, or magazines.
