Open Sewing - Evenings!
Location
About
Join the library for an open sewing class on the last Tuesday of the month at our Lansingburgh Branch.
The program is led by Sarah Collen, owner of the Troy Sew Shop. This is a drop-in program where attendees can bring works-in-progress, get help from other attendees and Sarah, and spend time with other sewists in the community.
The library provides several sewing machines, but participants are encouraged to bring their own. Fabric scraps and limited sewing supplies are available for those interested in beginning a new project.
No registration is required for this event, but participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to ensure enough space for all.
PLEASE NOTE: We also have another instance of Open Sewing in the mornings! On the first Thursday of the month, we host Open Sewing from 10am to 11am, also at the Lansingburgh Branch Library (27 114th Street, Troy NY).
