Capital District Scottish Games

The Capital District Scottish Games will take place on September 5, 2026, at the Altamont Fairgrounds, 129 Grand Street, Altamont, NY 12009.

The event features a variety of Scottish-themed competitions and activities:

- Solo Piping & Drumming
- Drum Major contests
- Highland Athletics
- Highland Dancing
- Stage Bands
- Children's Events
- Clans & Societies displays
- Import Vendors
- On-site Camping
- Charity Golf Tournament

Tickets are available online and at the gates. Admission at the gate is $25; children 12 years of age and younger are free at the gates. Parking is free.

Veterans and active military can receive a 50% discount on gate admissions by showing their ID card at the gate; this discount is available only at the gate and only for the veteran or service member.
