Art Reception: "No Ma'ammy" - Troy

Join us for the art reception of "No Ma'ammy" presented by local artist Aysha Charise.

Concept of the show: Black women consistently birth legacies, fashion, music, and lead political movements. "No Ma'ammy" is a curation of artwork portraying Black women’s brilliance and release from depictions of servitude. This curation includes artwork of Black women depicted within themes of glamour, leisure, laughter, love, and/or power. "No Ma'ammy" is an art experience created by Black artists for Black women.
