Socks In the Frying Pan – 12/10

Socks in the Frying Pan, a multi-award-winning trio from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland—the mecca of Irish traditional music—was formed in 2014. Forged together by a fire of pure joy and passion for their art, the band comprises Shane Hayes (accordion), Calum Bell (fiddle), and David McKindley-Ward (guitar).

Their 'Socks Sound' combines virtuosic musicianship with a burning passion for the music and tradition, pitch-perfect harmonies, and a big splash of quick wit and banter.

They have toured extensively, playing in 48 US states, dozens of countries, and every continent, and have performed at festivals such as the Walnut Valley Festival (KS), Electric Picnic (Ireland), Tønder Festival (Denmark), and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. To date they have released four studio albums, and have earned accolades including 'Best New Band', 'Best Live Band', 'Album of the Year', and 'Best Live Performance of the Year'. Their latest release, Waiting for Inspiration, was submitted for a Grammy and appeared in LadBible’s Top 25 To Add to your Playlist.

Ticket & seating info:
- The 443 is an intimate listening room with table service that seats 75 people.
- The green squares/circles on the floor plan are bar-height tables, and the orange squares are regular-height tables.
- Most seats are sold as “Tables for Two” — the ticket admits TWO people.
- A limited number of single seats are available; single attendees may be sharing a table with other single attendees.
- Multiple tickets purchased under the same name will automatically be seated together (up to 6 people).
