Step Right Up to The Saturday Comedy Cavalcade!

AGES 6+

Gather the whole gang for The Saturday Comedy Cavalcade, a throwback extravaganza bringing pure, wholesome showmanship straight to the Bridge Street Theatre stage!

Led by Bridge Street’s own host with the most, Timothy Dunn, it’s 60 jam-packed minutes of non-stop giggles, high-energy slapstick, and tap-your-toes singing. This all-star lineup weaves side-splitting comedy together with live musical numbers guaranteed to entertain audiences of every generation:

  • Timothy Dunn — is a comedian, director and educator with more than two decades of experience in theatre and comedy. A longtime performer, writer and producer at New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, he has also appeared on stage across the country and worked as an on-camera host for Animal Planet, FuseTV and HQ Trivia. Now based in the Hudson Valley, Timothy is Associate Artistic Director at Bridge Street Theatre, where he also teaches improv and works with young performers — including classes and programming for kids from preschool age through their teens.
  • Carmen Borgia — is a musician and sound designer with early roots in theatre. He did the sound mix for 2024 Sundance non-fiction film and Emmy winner Going To Mars, as well as 2012 Emmy Documentary winner An Original Duckumentary — not a typo, it’s a documentary about ducks narrated by Paul Giamatti. Carmen also supervised the American voice dubbing for Pokémon, seasons 11–14. He and his wife, Alison Davy, moved from NYC to Catskill, NY in 2012. In 2015, he founded Ukulele Catskill, a weekly ukulele jam that is still going strong for all skill levels and provides a fun public space for people to develop their musical skills. You can find Carmen’s music on all the regular music streaming services.
  • Jolly Joe Jester — is a Hudson Valley–based comedian, improviser, musician and host blending clowning, storytelling and song into joyful, unpredictable performances. Founder of Happenstancery, he has built a welcoming improv community since 2020, offering low-cost, inclusive workshops and shows across New Paltz and beyond. Jolly Joe invites audiences to play, laugh and rediscover creativity. His mission is simple: bring people together, spread love and maybe, just maybe, help save the world.
  • Peter Daniel Straus — is a versatile actor-comedian whose work spans network TV, feature film, theater, nightclubs and circus the world over. He began his career as a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown and has since appeared as a featured comedic performer at the Metropolitan Opera, a starring guest artist at The National Stage of Norway, and multiple times on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show. On screen, he originated "Pierre the Mime," infiltrating Impractical Jokers, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, played the mechanical automaton on ABC’s Deception, the Abe Lincoln Statue in the Golden Globe-winning A Different Man, – plus a turn as a tiny vampire in a recent KitKat commercial.
