Ride in a climate-controlled trolley as local County Historian Kathy Sheehan tells stories of Oakwood’s “wild women.” Hear about suffragists, philanthropists, and other famous women from 19th-century Troy, including Emma Willard, Julia Dickinson Tayloe, Julia Dickinson Tayloe Paine, Betsey Hart, Amanda Cluett, Caroline Gilkey Rogers, Estelle Rand, Beulah Baily Thull, and Evanetta Hare. They were a force to contend with.
