Black Mariners: Stories & Life on the Water

All ages.

Set sail on an evening of discovery highlighting the lives and contributions of Black sailors and maritime workers through storytelling, hands-on exploration, and a curated book display. Guests are encouraged to come dressed for an adventure on the water.

This program was researched by and will be led by representatives from The Underground Railroad Education Center, in conjunction with The RED Bookshelf.
