Firefly Frolic with George Steele

Join environmental educator naturalist George Steele exploring creatures of the night in Green Hill Cemetery.

• We'll frolic with fireflies, imitating their flashing in a firefly mating game.
• Calculate air temperature with the help of crickets.
• Hoot and whistle up an owl or two if we're lucky.
• Taking a few activities from George and Anita's book "Wait Till It Gets Dark: A Kid's Guide to Exploring the Night" we'll test our own senses to become better night time adventurers.
