Ten Broeck Mansion Gala 2026: Raise the Roof for Education
Location
About
Support the Ten Broeck Mansion Education Center at a gala featuring dinner, a history-inspired wine and cheese tasting, live music, a silent auction, and more.
Join the Ten Broeck Mansion | Albany County Historical Association as we raise funds to “Raise the Roof” for our Education Center. Celebrate 78 years of the Ten Broeck Mansion sharing the rich and diverse history and culture of Albany County.
The fundraising goal is to complete the new Education Center, built on the site and in the form of the former 18th–19th-century carriage barn and greenhouse. The space will help the organization serve children, families, seniors, and visitors from around the world.
The gala includes dinner and history-inspired wine and cheese pairings at Wolferts Roost Country Club. The silent auction features a 14K gold Florentine gemstone pendant, Satsuma vases, a Picasso lithograph, a Taxco silver necklace, antiques, restaurant gift certificates, and more.
All attendees must reserve tickets by October 30 at 4 pm. Select one entrée:
- NY Strip Steak (gluten-free)
- Chicken Reggiano: Parmesan-breaded chicken breast topped with plum tomatoes and lemon-basil butter
- Butternut squash ravioli (vegetarian)
Dinner includes a Tastes of the Mediterranean station, passed appetizers, salad with balsamic dressing, a choice of deluxe dessert, coffee, and tea. Wine tasting is included; all other drinks are available at the cash bar.
Gala attendees receive a complimentary Albany County Historical Association membership through March 2027, including access to free members’ events during the 2026 Holiday House season: a concert, tours, an author event, and more.
Thursday, November 5, at Wolferts Roost, 120 Van Rensselaer Boulevard, Albany, NY:
