Strap in and prepare to take off on an adrenaline-pumping 5K at the Schenectady County Airport runway. Lace-up your shoes, hit the tarmac, and reach unbelievable speeds on this flat and fast course. It will feel like you are flying.
Boarding begins at the Empire State Aerosciences Museum. Pre-check your race registration and taxi to the runway for a 10:00 a.m. departure. Young aviators in range of the runway are invited to Run the Runway in a FREE 1-mile fun run at 10:45 a.m.
After the run, join the Empire State Aerosciences Museum and the 109th Airlift Wing.
