Afghan Kite Making & Flying Workshop - 2 Day Event

Have you ever made a kite?

At this 2-day workshop, artist Ahmad Shah Wali leads participants through the creation and flying of their own kites, weather permitting.

• Day 1: Participants will learn the craftsmanship required to create a kite capable of flying, learn about the kite’s cultural significance in Afghanistan, and begin kite construction.

• Day 2: Participants will complete and try to fly their kites.
