24th Annual “The Way We Were” Car Show

We offer a non-judged category for people who want to come to the show and just display their car and enjoy the day. All other entries will be judged on a 100-point scale, with 25 points awarded in each of the following categories:
- Exterior condition and cleanliness
- Interior condition and cleanliness
- Tires and wheels condition and cleanliness
- Engine and engine compartment cleanliness

Please be sure to enter the appropriate category for your vehicle. Judging will be based on the specifications for that category. Engine score counts for 1/4 of the total score — PLEASE LEAVE YOUR HOOD OPEN.

What do we consider Stock? At our show, Stock includes year, make and model correct changes and minor modifications such as headers, intake and carb.

What do we consider Modified? At our show, Modified includes significant modifications such as aftermarket engine, transmission, frame, front end and tubbing.

Trophies will be awarded for: Best in Show — Car, Best in Show — Truck, President’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Stock, Best Import, Farthest Traveled and Oldest Vehicle.

The first 400 registrants are guaranteed a dash plaque; the first 200 receive a car show–related gift. There is a $20 pre-registration fee (paid by 9/30/2026) or $25 the day of the show.

You may pre-register online by filling out the form. If you prefer to pre-register by mail, a printable form is available. Mail to: BSBPA Car Show, PO Box 386, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

All participants who pre-register can pick up their car number, goodie bag and dash plaque when they enter the show and park, so there will be no need to come to the registration table. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER. It will save you a long wait in the registration line.

Registration for anyone who has not pre-registered will be held in Wiswall Park. If you have not pre-registered, you will pay as you enter, park your car, and walk to Wiswall Park to register. Awards will be in Wiswall Park at 3:00 pm.

All cars must enter the show on Charlton Street, which will be clearly marked. Volunteers will be handing out registration forms and directing you to the parking staff. If you have pre-registered, you will enter the show immediately.

If you are coming with a club or want to park with a group, please gather all cars off-site and arrive together at the show entry. We will only park you when your entire group is there. There will be no way to get another car into a group that is already parked. We request that all car group members please PRE-REGISTER to expedite your entry and placement.

Judging starts at 9:00 am. All proceeds of the car show will benefit BSBPA community efforts and activities.
