Storytime at the Museum: CeeCee: Underground Railroad Cinderella

Join us for Storytime at the Museum as we read CeeCee: Underground Railroad Cinderella by Shana Keller. This unique retelling of the classic Cinderella story is set on a Maryland plantation and follows CeeCee, an enslaved girl, as she dreams of freedom. Instead of being rescued by a prince, CeeCee's journey leads to a different kind of hero.

After the story, children can color pictures of Harriet Tubman, one of the most well-known conductors on the Underground Railroad.

This program is intended for children ages 5-9 but is open to all. Parental participation is encouraged, and supervision is required.
