Storytime at the Museum: "Georgia’s Bones"
11 a.m. at the Chapman, free
Join us to explore the life and imagination of artist Georgia O’Keeffe through the beautifully written and illustrated book "Georgia’s Bones" by Jen Bryant.
This story introduces young readers to Georgia’s unique way of seeing the world — from desert landscapes to delicate flowers and sun-bleached bones — and how those visions shaped her iconic artwork.
After the reading, participants can dive into their own creativity by coloring images of Georgia O’Keeffe and some of her most famous paintings.
This program is intended for children ages 5-9 but is open to all. Parental participation is encouraged, and supervision is required.
This program is free and does not require registration.
