For kids in grades K-6. You may know the facts of the American Revolution — battles and famous figures — but do you know how everyday citizens survived this turbulent time?

Educators from the Schenectady County Historical Society discuss home life during the Revolutionary War, focusing on the foodways that sustained the fight for freedom. Participants will churn butter and sample period-appropriate recipes.
