49 Henry Street · Saratoga Springs, NY

About

Join us for a presentation that offers a critical examination of the American horseracing industry and the ethical concerns surrounding the sport. Through a non-graphic visual presentation, attendees will explore perspectives that are often overlooked amid the popularity and tradition of horseracing in Saratoga Springs.

The program runs approximately 30 minutes, followed by an open Q&A discussion session. Designed to educate, engage, and empower community members, the presentation encourages informed conversation and critical thinking about the realities of the racing industry.

Please register online.

Presented by Patrick Battuello of Horseracing Wrongs. Founded in 2013, Horseracing Wrongs' mission is to educate the public on the (mostly) hidden cruelties of horseracing. As founder and president, Patrick has been featured on HBO's "Real Sports" and has appeared on CNN and ESPN. He has also been published by The Washington Post, MSNBC, The Baltimore Sun, and Katie Couric Media. Patrick regularly gives talks at colleges - Skidmore, Siena, Albany Law, among them - and has testified on horse racing before the NYS Senate.
