About
The Players features Keith Howland and Jeff Coffey, two former members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Chicago, along with an all-star band and a kickin’ horn section.
Keith Howland served as the longest-tenured guitarist in the band's history for 27 years. Jeff Coffey, bassist and tenor vocalist extraordinaire, replaced Jason Scheff in 2016.
Surrounded by an all-star band — including Rob Arthur (Peter Frampton) on keys/vocals and Ed Toth (The Doobie Brothers) on drums — plus a smokin’ three-piece horn section, The Players bring the songs and the energy you would expect at this level of musicianship. This is most definitely NOT a tribute band.
They often bring guest musicians, so you never know who might show up and join in the fun. Recent guests include Michael Bluestein (Foreigner), Tom Brechtlein (Kenny Loggins), and John Cowan (The Doobie Brothers).
