NYS DanceForce at Union College: Witness

"Witness" is a free studio performance directed by Sondra Loring in collaboration with Sunder Ashni, Eric Cherry, Peggy Gould, Erick Montes, Dwayne Resnick, Aidan Samp, Hana Van Der Kolk, and Suanny Upegi.

The work, inspired by creative risk, deep listening, and radical collaboration, originated from movement, poetry, and improvisation workshops inside Greene Correctional Facility for incarcerated men.

Outside artists now interpret and respond to that work, blending movement, poetry, and telepathic dancing.

The event features a discussion with the artists following the performance.
