Schoolhouse Open House!

Drop by to explore inside Thacher's one-room schoolhouse, which was originally built in 1898 and fully furnished and restored in 2005. An educator will be on site with information about the schoolhouse as part of the Albany County Historical Association’s Path Through History program.

Parking is limited. Visitors are encouraged to park at the Thacher Nature Center and walk through nearby meadows using the Schoolhouse Trail if they are able. This trail is 0.5 miles in one direction. Trail maps are available at the Nature Center.

No registration is required. Drop-ins welcome.
