MASK PAINTING WORKSHOP: ACG After Hours
Location
About
Join us Wednesday, October 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. for a paint night at Albany Center Gallery in downtown Albany.
Albany Center Gallery and Paint Albany, a sister company of Paint Cohoes, are teaming up for an evening of painting and gala glam with artist Alicia Lea. Paint a bold masquerade mask on canvas, then make it your own with color, pattern, and faux gems. No experience is needed, and all materials are provided. A mask stencil will be available, or you can freehand your design. Alicia will guide you step by step.
The workshop takes place during the 47th Annual Photography Regional exhibition, with extended hours to experience the exhibition outside of the gallery’s regular weekly viewing hours.
Free to attend and open to adults ages 18+. Space is limited to 25 guests. Register for free by Tuesday, October 20.
About the artist: Alicia Lea founded Paint Cohoes: Studio & Gallery in downtown Cohoes in 2020. With a background in mural art and early childhood education, she has been teaching art since 2009. Her motto is, “Art is for everyone.”
