Tales of Albany: Local History Book Club

The Local History Book Club is on the move! This month we are at the Arbor Hill/West Hill branch to discuss Alice Paden Green's memoir We Who Believe in Freedom: Activism and the Struggle for Social Justice.

For over 60 years Alice Paden Green worked tirelessly for the civil rights of Albany citizens and for reform of the local and state judicial systems. She published her memoir in 2021, just 3 years before her passing in 2024.
