Olan Quattro - Artist Reception

Olan Quattro will be here to celebrate the opening of her SOLO SHOW, "The Daily Cut," at the Albany Art Room.

"The Daily Cut" by Olan Quattro is an ongoing series in which a collage is made in response to a headline from that day's New York Times. Every day a new headline, every day a new collage. The physical act of collage, of taking scissors to an image, unveils possibilities of editing and reframing of narratives. Quattro engages in this storytelling by documenting and deconstructing the daily political ambushes of our times.
