Art.Work.Space. Storyboarding Workshop with Nasir Villegas

JOIN US for the upcoming Art. Work. Space Storyboarding Workshop, with Artist Mentor Nasir Villegas.

• When: Saturday, September 12, 2026 from Noon – 3 p.m.
• Where: The Art. Work. Space at ACG
• Register: Register for FREE by Thursday, 9/10. Registration is REQUIRED. Please include a valid email with registration.

🎨 About the workshop:
Participants will learn the fundamentals of Storyboarding, how it’s used, examples shown in the Film and Animation Industry, and the tools and techniques needed to create original Storyboards.

🎨 About the Artist:
Nasir is a freelance Storyboard Art Director based in Albany. As Director, he is tasked with overseeing the other board artists, mapping out cinematography, editing, and compositing the scenes for a 3D animated series. Nasir has a passion for storytelling through all sorts of media including film, animation, writing and visual art.

🖌 The workshop is free, and there is limited space in order to foster a proactive learning environment. No prior knowledge or experience in the arts is necessary.
