Ready to Dance: Jazz and Latin Music

APL is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month as we learn about and enjoy the wonderful marriage of Latin sounds with jazz-style renditions. Cuban-born Jorge Gomez has led several groups that combine both legacies in the Capital Region and elsewhere. Dr. Jose Cruz, president of Jazz Latino, Inc., will give some background on this musical fusion.
