The 2026 Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival is an all-day celebration of jazz music held at Jennings Landing, 1 Quay Street, Albany, NY. For 24 years, this event has featured world-class musicians, up-and-coming artists, and local favorites. This year's festival takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, starting at 12:30 PM.
Attendees can enjoy live jazz performances, browse local vendors, and sample food and beverages. The day ends with post-concert fireworks. The festival is open to all ages and admission is free.
$8 flat-fee parking is available at the Riverfront Garage (2 Columbia St.) and Quackenbush Garage (25 Orange St.), including handicap parking and EV charging spaces.
Special ground rules include:
- No glass containers.
- No recording of performances.
- No animals/pets (except ADA-defined service animals).
- All City of Albany parks are tobacco- and marijuana-free.
- Bags and containers are subject to inspection.
- Age identification may be requested for alcohol consumption.
- Ground rules may change; exceptions for medical or childcare reasons may be considered individually.
