In partnership with Asian Arts New York (AANY) and AAPI Heritage Month 518, Albany Center Gallery (ACG) presents threads: weaving an intricate banner, an exhibition in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. Co-curated by Andrew Kwok, Jennie Tang, and Ed Ticson, the exhibition runs May 1 to June 13, 2026. threads: weaving an intricate banner is free and open to the public; Tuesday–Saturday, Noon–5 p.m.

Artists’ Reception: Friday, May 1, 5–8 p.m. A live performance curated by Asian Arts New York will be held during the reception. Additional programming will take place throughout the exhibit.

AANHPI Heritage Month is a nationwide celebration that centers the history, contributions, and diverse experiences of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States. In addition to this exhibition and associated programming, there are many other local groups and organizations highlighting AANHPI creative work; we acknowledge their tireless work and energy.
