“A wonderland of traditional and cutting-edge roots music.” – New England Public Media
FreshGrass Festival returns to MASS MoCA September 24–26, 2027, for a weekend of bluegrass and roots music. Tickets go on sale in late fall 2026.
Set against the foothills of the Berkshire mountains, FreshGrass is a family-friendly festival featuring traditional masters, iconic trailblazers, and musical discoveries across the fields, courtyards, and galleries of MASS MoCA. The weekend also includes FreshGrass Commissions, the FreshGrass Awards showcase, farm-fresh food, local brews, and pop-up jam sessions. The festival is produced in partnership by MASS MoCA and the FreshGrass Foundation.
