Chrissi Poland's - "Forever Muscle Shoals"

During a tour stop in Florence, Alabama, in 2022, Chrissi Poland decided she needed to return and make a record in Muscle Shoals. While touring Fame Studios, she experienced an emotional and visceral reaction to being in the room where some of the greatest soul records were made.

Forever Muscle Shoals is a full-length album celebrating the songs and sound recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in the late ’60s and early ’70s. Recorded live at Fame Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, the album features Chrissi’s interpretations of songs by Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Wilson Pickett, Cher, Bob Dylan, and more.
